How to tell if a Thai woman is lying to you

Someone recently asked me "How can I tell if a Thai woman is lying to me?"... This is not an easy question to answer. All people are different and determining whether or not a particular lady is telling the truth might not be a straightforward endeavour.
As a leading detective agency based in Thailand, we have exposed many ladies that were lying to their foreign boyfriends. These women come from all different walks of life and met their boyfriends under all manner of different circumstances.
Establishing whether or not you are being lied to can be very difficult in many cases, however there are often signs to look for which can indicate the lady's true intentions.
1. She fell in love very quickly
Did your Thai girlfriend claim to love you within days of having met you? This type of mock sincerity could be a sign that she is lying to you and perhaps more interested in your wallet than your heart and good nature. It takes time to get to know another person and to really fall for them.
2. Suspicious cellphone use
Another warning sign involves cellphones. Does your girlfriend hide her cellphone screen? Are there things on her cellphone that she doesn’t want you to see? You should be deeply concerned if this is the case. Think about it: What legitimate reason could she have to conceal her phone activity? Maybe she’s speaking to other men that she doesn’t want you to know about.
If your girlfriend is rushing off to the toilet or balcony to speak on her phone, this should also act as a massive red flag, whatever excuses you’re being told.
3. Her finances don't add up
Men with partners in Thailand would be wise to examine the financial state of their partners in figuring out how truthful they are being. Is your girlfriend living within her means? If your partner has no means of income but is somehow going out to eat and drink very often, it would be wise to question how she can afford such a lifestyle.
Ladies that are earning a basic minimum wage will not be able to afford a lavish lifestyle without help from someone else. How much is her rent and utility bills every month? Does she support her family? Do the numbers add up? Of course, if your partner is trying to encourage you to send her money, then she might be painting a different picture entirely.
4. She works in a bar or 'adult entertainment' venue
If your Thai girlfriend works in a bar, go-go, massage parlour, or in any other 'adult entertainment' type venue, then she will probably be lying to you, based on our experience.
Ladies that work in bars will most always claim that they 'just earn money from drinks and don't go with customers', however this is very rarely the case. Many bars will require the lady to have a certain number of 'bar fines' paid for her every week or month in order for her to earn a salary.
Other excuses include 'I'm a manager or cashier in the bar', again, when we are asked to check we usually discover this claim to be false.
5. She says that 'all Thai men are no good'
There are good and bad with all groups of people, and Thai men are no exception. If a Thai lady tells you that 'all Thai men are no good', then you should question why she is saying that. Is she perhaps looking to getaway with behaviour that a Thai man would not tolerate? Maybe Thai men are just not interested in her, and there could be good reasons for that.
Is she being truthful?
